Every spring, Dayna's school has a Walk-A-Thon to raise money for the school. Last year Dayna received a medal for walking 33 laps and taking 2nd place in her class for the most money raised. This year she walked 67 laps and received a medal for 3rd place for the most laps walked! We were worried because there was rain in the forecast for that day, but we just got some sprinkles and the rest of the day was beautiful!
Last year, Baba and Papa bid on the Teacher Treasure for Dayna's class and won! Dayna had a fun-filled day with her teacher and 3 friends! So, this year, we decided to bid on it again and WON! Dayna and her good friend Yulia (pictured above) got to invite 4 other friends to a "Hawaiian Social" with their teacher Mrs. Paule! They had a blast eating Orange Chicken, learning a hula dance and doing some fun crafts!
